Just ate half of a cheesesteak. It was delicious. I’ve had a couple of steaks from different places, and as a non-Pennsylvanian who has no preference, I’d say this one is among the best. The meat, cheese, and onions were superb. Get the seeded roll. You can actually taste the sesame seeds. It’s a big sucker, that’s for sure. I can’t imagine a normal person eating the whole thing in one sitting. Plus, the fries tasted great. Even my fiancée, who is all about Philly, loved it. High praise indeed. The only downside is the price. We bought two steaks and an order of fries and paid 45 bucks. Was it expensive? Big time. Will I go again? Definitely. But only as a rare treat. Now where’s that other half…

Wow I’m impressed !! The cheesesteak was one of the best I ever had and the fries were perfectly seasoned. Definitely will be coming back!

Pops Steaks in Conshy is legit. Sandwich was loaded, meat was fresh, roll was perfect. Exactly what you want when you’re craving a real cheesesteak. Service was quick, everyone working there actually seemed like they cared, and the spot was clean. Conshy was lacking a great steak spot but not anymore!

Steak so good I’m writing the review halfway through. Plenty of meat, right amount of cheese, onions cooked perfectly, and a great seeded roll. Everyone inside was friendly and my order was ready in just 15 minutes even though they were very busy. The fries are good, the tallow makes them much higher quality and it shows. The pepper on the fries is a nice touch too. 10/10 and I will be back!

Pops Steaks opened in Conshy on Friday, and i decided to stop by on Monday.. the phones were ringing nonstop, steady line, everyone excited to have a new sandwich spot. The cheesesteak itself is no joke. It’s packed to the point where finishing it in one sitting feels like a dare…. I tapped out halfway and had to regroup later. Zero regrets. Cheesesteak is packed with meat. The seeded roll is perfection! Conshy needed this. I’ll be back POP!!

Pop’s Steaks is a must try! The food is amazing. The place is nearly spotless, a very cleanly and loves the decorations! I spoke to the cashier and got told a heartfelt story of how her grandfather was called Pop which is why she applied there. Overall such a nice homie feeling to the neighborhood! Loved the special Jacco as well, wish it was on the menu full time!

Stopped by here on what we believe was opening day. The steak was good. It wasn't greasy. Tasted like good quality steak. I ordered a plain steak with raw onion. It really could have used some sauce, I don'tremember seeing that as an option on the menu. But that's just my personal opion. Stop in and give them a try.
